branding
Creating a credible visual identity for a professional property environment without falling into familiar corporate-software conventions. The identity needed to work across the app, website, sales materials and partner communications.
Brand · Product · Growth
PropMaintain needed more than a visual identity. The challenge was to create one coherent proposition across the brand, the digital product and the route to market.
Marketta worked across strategy, creative and product development so the business could present itself consistently to property managers, contractors, partners and future customers.
The challenge
PropMaintain sits across property operations, contractor management and digital workflow. That breadth creates opportunity, but it can also make the offer difficult to explain quickly.
The work therefore started above the level of a campaign or individual design task. We looked at the category, the audiences, the competitive environment and the role the platform could credibly occupy.
Once that foundation was clearer, the brand, product experience, partnership strategy and marketing could all be developed around the same commercial story.
What Marketta delivered
Each workstream solved a different part of the challenge. The value came from treating them as one connected system rather than seven separate projects.
Creating a credible visual identity for a professional property environment without falling into familiar corporate-software conventions. The identity needed to work across the app, website, sales materials and partner communications.
Clarifying what PropMaintain should stand for, who it is for and how its operational value should be expressed to different decision makers.
Reviewing the category, competing propositions and common claims to identify where PropMaintain could create meaningful separation rather than simply matching market conventions.
Developing language that is direct, knowledgeable and practical. Complex maintenance workflows needed to feel easier to understand without making the proposition sound simplistic.
Shaping desktop and mobile experiences around real operational tasks, with clearer status information, simpler navigation and interfaces designed to show what needs attention.
Exploring integrations and channel partnerships that could strengthen the product proposition, extend reach and create routes into the wider property-management ecosystem.
Connecting positioning to a practical go-to-market plan covering audience priorities, website messaging, content, lead generation, sales support and digital channels. The objective was a repeatable marketing system built around one clear proposition.
Product experience
For a software business, the application is one of the most important brand touchpoints.
The product experience needed to feel consistent with the external proposition while remaining calm, functional and easy to scan during everyday use.
That meant treating interface decisions as part of the wider brand and positioning work rather than as a separate layer of decoration.
Commercial thinking
Positioning only becomes useful when it influences real decisions: how the offer is presented, how buyers compare it with alternatives and how marketing moves from awareness into a serious sales conversation.
Throughout the engagement, the commercial proposition remained visible. Brand choices, app design, partnership thinking and campaign language all needed to reinforce the same answer to three questions:
The outcome
The value of the engagement was not one deliverable in isolation. It was creating a more coherent business story across how PropMaintain looks, speaks, behaves and goes to market.
That gives future activity a stronger foundation. New campaigns, product features, partnership conversations and sales materials can build on a shared positioning rather than repeatedly redefining the business from scratch.
